This Privacy Policy explains how Sevaz handles your personal data. Please read it together with our Terms of Service. By using Sevaz, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

Sevaz is a dating service that you use through our Telegram bot (@sevaz_dating_bot), its companion Mini App, and our website (sevaz.app).

The operator responsible for your data ("we", "us", "Sevaz") is the Sevaz team.

You can reach us inside the bot @sevaz_dating_bot with the /support command.

2. What data we collect

We collect only what we need to run a dating service:

• Profile information — your name, age, gender, who you are looking for, your city or approximate location (as latitude-longitude coordinates), a short bio, and your relationship goal.
• Photos — the photos you upload to your profile.
• Telegram account details — your Telegram account ID and username.
• Activity on Sevaz — your likes, dislikes, superlikes, matches, and any reports you send or receive.
• Payment records — when you buy Premium, superlikes, or gifts. Payments are handled by Telegram Stars and Stripe; those providers process the payment itself. Sevaz stores a record of the transaction (what was bought, when, and the amount). We never see or store full card numbers.
• Technical and usage data — the minimal technical information we need to keep the service working (for example, basic logs and settings).

3. What we do NOT collect or store

We do not store the content of your messages. Conversations between you and your matches happen directly inside Telegram. Sevaz does not read, store, or keep a copy of those messages. Your chats stay between you, the other person, and Telegram.

4. Why we process your data

We use your data to:

• create your profile and show it to other users for matching;
• keep Sevaz safe — moderation, screening photos, handling reports, and preventing abuse;
• process your payments and keep purchase records;
• operate, maintain, and improve the service;
• meet our legal obligations.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers we need to run Sevaz:

• Telegram — the platform Sevaz runs on. Your use of Telegram is also covered by Telegram's own privacy policy.
• Stripe and Telegram Stars — our payment providers, to process purchases.
• Google (Gemini AI) — to automatically screen uploaded photos for prohibited content, such as nudity or images of minors.
• Our hosting and infrastructure provider — the servers that store data and run the service.

Each provider receives only the data it needs for its task.

6. International transfers

Our servers and some of our providers may be located outside Azerbaijan (for example, in the European Union). This means your data may be transferred to and stored in other countries. Wherever your data is processed, we take steps to keep it protected to the standard described in this policy.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your personal data while your account is active.

When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a short period (around 30 days). We keep a limited amount of data for longer only where we must:

• payment and transaction records, to meet legal and financial obligations;
• a minimal record of banned users, to keep the community safe and prevent re-registration.

8. Your rights and how to use them

You can:

• access the data we hold about you;
• correct your profile information;
• delete your account and all associated data — this is available directly in the bot;
• download / export your data;
• withdraw consent where processing is based on your consent;
• complain if you think we have mishandled your data.

Sevaz is governed by the laws of Azerbaijan. For users in Turkey, we respect the principles of Turkey's data-protection law (KVKK).

9. Age (18+ only)

Sevaz is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. People under 18 are not permitted to use the service. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will remove the account.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Backups are encrypted, and access to personal data is limited to those who need it. No online service can be completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the bot. Your continued use of Sevaz after an update means you accept the revised policy.
